DevOps vs SRE Is More About Culture Than Certs
DevOps and SRE are organizational practices as much as technical skills. AWS DevOps Professional validates pipeline automation (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy) and operations on AWS. CKA + Terraform is more about infrastructure management patterns.
SRE roles at large tech companies (Google, Netflix, Cloudflare) rarely specify cert requirements — they look for demonstrated ability to build reliable distributed systems. Certifications help pass ATS screening but aren't the primary signal.
